The department offers a wide variety of business/computer application courses geared for both the business and non-business major. The courses provide students with the necessary skills that will allow them to adapt to new technologies in their personal lives as well as their career choices.
Occupational Education
Grades 9-12
- Studying introduction to occupations
- Studying keyboarding/business communications
- Developing computer applications such as: word processing, database, spreadsheets, presentation software, Internet and E-mail
- Studying accounting concepts/applications
- Studying marketing and entrepreneurship
- Studying business law
- Exploring management/operation of school store via the DECA Club
Technology
Grades 9-12
- Studying computer graphics and computer aided design
- Studying architectural design (I and II)
- Exploring technical drawing, production, and transportation
- Studying basic electricity and electronics
