This course is designed to develop a strong foundation for the subsequent Course I class. An emphasis is placed on mastery of arithmetic and algebraic skills.

- Using knowledge of truth tables and incorporating laws of inference to complete a deductive mathematical proof
- Studying concepts of congruence and similarity

- Studying and applying operations and algebraic skills with complex numbers
- Beginning the study of functions, relations, and their inverses

Sequential Mathematics Course IV (Pre-Calculus)
Grades 9-12
This course will provide the student with a strong background in calculus and analytic geometry. A strong emphasis is placed on the use of the graphing calculator (TI-82) for the analysis of a variety of functions.

Advanced Placement Statistics
Grades 9-12
- This course is a college-level course equivalent to one semester of non-calculus based statistics.
- Exploring data: observing patterns and pattern deviation
- Planning a study: deciding what and how to measure
- Anticipating patterns: producing models using probability and simulation
