Catskill Schools to Honor Area Veterans

Students in the Catskill High School are reaching out to the community
and are inviting all area veterans to their special Veterans’ Day
Recognition on Thursday, November 5th. Catskill High School Principal,
Bill Ball, said students "look forward to honoring all of our Veterans
every year. This is an assembly the kids really get up for!"
The High School, Catskill Central School District and community members
including the Bank of Greene County have planned the recognition and
luncheon for Thursday, November 5th at Catskill High School. The program
begins at 10 A.M. with student ambassadors seating Veterans and their
guests beginning at 9:30 A.M.
Veterans from the Marine Corp. Coast Guard, Navy, Army and Air Force
are
encouraged to contact the Catskill Central School District at 943-4696
for more information.
There is special reserved seating and parking for all veterans.
The recognition program will be featured on “CatsEye” over Mid
Hudson
Cable Channel 11 and can be seen later in the month on the
CCSD website www.catskillcsd.org
